Prayer of Comfort…
Blessed be the God and Father of my Lord Yeshua the Messiah, the Father of compassion and God of all encouragement. He encourages me in every trouble, so that I may be able to encourage those who are in any trouble, through the very encouragement with which we ourselves are encouraged by God. For just as the sufferings of Messiah overflow into me, so also through Messiah my encouragement overflows.
Have you not known? Have you not heard? Adonai is the eternal God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not grow tired or weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives strength to the weary, and to one without vigor He adds might. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall, but they who wait for Adonai will renew their strength. They will soar up with wings as eagles. They will run, and not grow weary. They will walk, and not be faint.
Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Surely I will help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. “Shalom I leave you, My shalom I give to you; but not as the world gives! Do not let your heart be troubled or afraid. “Fear not, for I have redeemed you, I have called you by name, you are Mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, or through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, nor will the flame burn you.
The face of Adonai is against evildoers, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. The righteous cry out and Adonai hears, and delivers them from all their troubles. Many are the distresses of the righteous, but Adonai delivers him out of them all.
Therefore I do not lose heart. Though my outward man is decaying, yet my inward man is renewed day by day. For my trouble, light and momentary, is producing for me an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, as I look not at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen. For what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.
Therefore I humble myself under the mighty hand of God, so that He may lift me up at the appropriate time. I cast all worries on Him, for He cares for me.
Stay alert! Watch out! Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, searching for someone to devour. Stand up against him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being laid upon your brothers and sisters throughout the world.
After you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace—who has called you into His eternal glory in Messiah—will Himself restore, support, strengthen, and establish you.
Through Him we also have gained access by faith into this grace in which we stand and boast in the hope of God’s glory.
And not only that, but we also boast in suffering—knowing that suffering produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Ruach ha-Kodesh (The Holy Spirit) who was given to us.
…To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of Adonai, that He may be glorified.
Now the ransomed of Adonai will return, and come to Zion with singing. Everlasting joy will be upon their heads. They will obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.
…in the name of Jesus, I command the spirits of heaviness, sorrow and mourning to flee from me right now in the name of Jesus…I bind you, rebuke you and break all agreements with you…Go NOW in the name of Jesus…
(RAISE HANDS FOR THIS NEXT PART)
Now may the God of hope fill me with all joy and shalom in trusting, so I may overflow with hope in the power of the Ruach ha-Kodesh. (The Holy Spirit)
AMEN
